I have this press (75 ton) with a "AMOEL" brand label on it. So far, I have only used it at a fraction of its capacity and I have not yet tried the pneumatic power assist. Nevertheless, it is an impressively sturdy piece of kit - apart from the table lift mechanism which is, frankly, a joke! The steel cable runs from the hand-powered winch, over a pulley to lift the left side of the table. The same cable continues down to the base of the press, across to the right side, up the right side and over a final pulley to lift the right side of the table. Two of the pulley's involved run on the threads of 16mm threaded bar and the cable drags across the drum of the winch and a frame member at one point. I added a turnbuckle so as to pre-tension the right-hand side in a vain attempt to get it to lift the table evenly. The section of cable between the winch and the left side of the table is under twice the tension as the rest of the cable, and it is at an angle, so it pulls the table sideways into hard contact with the frame making it difficult to insert the supporting pins. Enough force is required that the threaded bar supporting the first pulley is now bent. You might expect a few corners to be cut ( not if I'd paid almost $4k for it! ) but the lift mechanism is embarrassing and for the manufacturer to fix it shouldn't have to add much to the price.
