Heavy-Duty Dual Trusses: High grade and thick-wall steel frame with extra wide connectors maximize structure strength for demanding northern Canadian weather conditions.
60 PSF Snow Load Rating: Designed and reviewed by registered Canadian structure engineers, the structure is rated for 60 PSF snow load. Engineering report available upon request.
Centre Container Mounting: Designed to mount on two shipping containers 30' apart, with footplates located at the middle of each container top, on specially designed U-shaped rail systems.
Corrosion-Resistant Frame: Epoxy coating on top of hot-dip galvanized steel frame structure for long-term resistance to corrosion in a highly acidic mining work environment.
Extended Side Coverage: The PVC cover drops below the support rails to close the rail-level gap and provide full rain and wind coverage along the container interfaces.
Heavy-Duty PVC Cover: Durable 900 GSM PVC fabric provides long lasting overhead weather protection, and passes NFPA 701 and CAN ULC 109 flammability tests.
Custom Built to Strict Requirements: Full custom project configuration was designed around special container layout, support rails and extended cover required for the mining site.

The TMG-DTE4040CU-SR60 Snow Series™ 40' x 40' Dual Truss Container Shelter is custom-built for Gibraltar Mines in Williams Lake, Northern British Columbia, Canada. It was engineered to shelter mining operations in the winter, with machines running an acidic work environment. The design was reviewed and approved by registered structure engineer according to Gibraltar Mines' site specifications.

Rated for a 60 PSF snow load, this project-specific shelter combines a reinforced large and thick steel frame with a heavy-duty 32 oz PVC cover to protect equipment and materials in a demanding mining environment. Engineering drawings and load documentation are available upon request.

The shelter mounts on top of two 40' shipping containers positioned 30' apart. Its footplates sit at the middle of the container tops, supported by specially built U-shaped steel rails welded to the containers. This custom support arrangement is designed to carry the shelter weight at the centre of containers, instead of the edges.

The PVC cover is extended to drop below the steel rails, closing the exposed gap at the mounting interface and providing full rain and wind coverage along the container sides. This detail maintains continuous weather protection across the shelter-to-container connection.
