Very good product but could use some adjustment to perfect.
We were really thrilled to get this greenhouse. We installed it in July and it is now the following February. The instructions were excellent and easy to understand. There were a couple problems with installation, the most notable being one of the poles for the top was labeled/sized incorrectly. When we laid out all the pieces and compared to the manual, we determined that a pole was labeled to fit in one spot but was the length to fit in another. We had to cut and press the end flat. We also drilled some of the holes a little larger. We found some of the bolts a little shorter than ideal and after several came loose in a windstorm and a couple of the now free poles ripped through the poly, we put in longer bolts. We also taped the outside of the tarp where the bolt ends had worn through. We found the length of rope to be insufficient and it also frayed in several places and wore through in a couple others within a few months. The latch is inadequate to hold the door closed and as the wind blew it around, the hinges bent. That being said, the structure is strong and easy to put together. There were enough screws, bolts, nuts, etc. to complete the job and even a few extra, which was very much appreciated. The poly is very good quality and I expect under normal circumstances would last the anticipated 48 months. I think as long as we continue replacing the poly, this tunnel will last for a very long time. Unfortunately, I do not have the manual in front of me or I would give the part numbers but my suggestion to the manufacturer would be to include bolts about 1/4 inch longer for the poles that attach about 5 feet off the ground on the 30' sides (those poles could also use the holes drilled a little bit larger), rounded bolt ends where they meet the poly (one could use an Allen key instead of a wrench to tighten) and more rope - maybe another 20 feet to have some extra, Overall a good product for the price.
Beautiful, durable, big
So far it’s the biggest bang for your buck. Would definitely recommend this item to friends and family.
any excellent greenhouse
Overall it is a easy system to install and only took 2 days to install.
This Greenhouse is our new Happy Place.
We were originally quite skeptical about the design of this greenhouse but we are now super happy with it. I think our favourite feature is the plastic. It isn't just super thick but it has rip-stop! Some of the grommets aren't as sturdy as they should be but the greenhouse made it through our very windy East Coast winter just fine. ** We built ours on a concrete foundation so it's very well anchored.
This was very simple to install. My only suggestion would be that the rope come on a reel rather than a bundle. It got very tangled and was a nightmare to try and use once that happened. Plus there wasn’t enough of it so we had to use zip ties, which was fine too. Overall this greenhouse is amazing!
