Product Description

The TMG-RT165 3-Point Hitch Rotary Tiller prepares your garden beds, nursery or hobby farm for seeding applications, landscaping and overall long-term land health and maintenance. Bring new life to your dirt by turning up old, tired grounds to reveal the fresh, nutrient rich soil available underneath. Comes with an included PTO shaft for Category 1 and 2 hookups and is compatible with most 30-50 HP tractors.

48 replaceable heavy-duty tines powerfully dig into the ground at a low, forceful speed of 214 RPM. This ensures a thorough, efficient reworking of the land after just one pass and leaves a beautiful layer of organic material settled evenly on top. Critical process for proper aeration and eco-diversity amongst the different sediments and starts to improve growing potential immediately.

Adjustable skid shoes allow you to control the tilling depth up to a maximum of 6”, and the 65” width makes quick work of larger plots. Minor assembly required and easy to access gear boxes for simple maintenance over time. Enclosed side gearbox protects your power transmission and a powder coated finish ensures a dependable, long-lasting piece of equipment for you and your property.

TMG-RT165 3 point rotary tiller

Unfortunately I live in the middle of Canada and had...read moreUnfortunately I live in the middle of Canada and had to pay more for shipping. I didn’t find this out until I had already paid for the tiller. Everything else went fine shipping unloading, unpacking. Today I used it for the first time as we are slowly harvesting our garden. I tilled approximately 200’ on the second pass the tines quit turning. The PTO is turning but not the tines. According to the troubleshooting guide the chain could be broken. This tiller is for a 30 to 50hp tractor ours is a Bobcat CT225 it only has 27hp so it wasn’t over powered. A little disappointed but will have to open up the chain case and have a look. Time will tell but I suppose if something new is going to fail it will be first time used.

The tiller seems well made and solid. Service and follow...read moreThe tiller seems well made and solid. Service and follow up from TMG was awesome. I had 2 issues, one was the assembly instructions were not really friendly, I suggest looking at images on the website and copying them. Rhe other was that the final two nuts for the bolts for assembly were the wrong size and I had to run to several suppliers before I found one that stocked M14 nylocs. Other than that the price was good, delivery was good although I was asked several times if I have a forklift, which I did, but it was not required.
