Also got a 40 Amp Generlink installed at our meter at the same time. Then in late March of 2025 a major wide-spread ice storm in our area took our power for five full days. I hooked up the generator to the generlink, followed the instructions closely, and we could run almost everything in the house including furnace, 2 fridges and 2 freezers, electric hot water heater, water pump, electric stove, lights, tv, satellite. We would shut the generator off around 10 pm each night, and would start it up around 5:30 each morning. Would typically give it a couple hours break during the day. The generator worked flawlessly. I kept in a horse trailer with the back door open to protect it from the elements during the outage. So thankful we had bought the generator and were well prepared.
