The design was reviewed and approved by registered structure engineer according to Gibraltar Mines' site specifications.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eRated for a 60 PSF snow load, this project-specific shelter combines a reinforced large and thick steel frame with a heavy-duty 32 oz PVC cover to protect equipment and materials in a demanding mining environment. Engineering drawings and load documentation are available upon request.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe shelter mounts on top of two 40' shipping containers positioned 30' apart. Its footplates sit at the middle of the container tops, supported by specially built U-shaped steel rails welded to the containers. This custom support arrangement is designed to carry the shelter weight at the centre of containers, instead of the edges.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe PVC cover is extended to drop below the steel rails, closing the exposed gap at the mounting interface and providing full rain and wind coverage along the container sides.
